Something

I was a bit upset about something yesterday and so I vented a little on a canvas with some oil. This was the result:

Tegaki Still Life

My parents and grandparents had bought a bunch alcohol when they went wine tasting. I thought the bottles looked interesting when they were sitting on the counter in front of the windows and had to try drawing them. I used some online program thing to do this. Nothing super. It was rather quick.

Cooties!

My second wall painting. This one is of two children. It seems like the girl is trying to get a kiss from the boy. Y'know I'm thinking that in the future it will be the other way around... that same boy will probably be the one begging for a kiss and the girl'll be the one complaining. : )

Wall Face

My painting teacher asked me to paint on the wall outside of her room. This is one of two paintings I did with acrylic paint on her wall. I am very honored to have been allowed to do so!

Sky Land Sea

An oil sky/land/seascape. Not as detailed as most of my other artworks but it was a fun experimentation.

Raghavan Portrait

An oil painting of a character of mine. I was experimenting with light and dark. This could have been a lot better I suppose and there are many mistakes that bother me, but overall I'm satisfied with it.

Sen and Eri Oil Painting

An oil painting of one of my sisters, Sen, and one of the foreign exchange students we hosted, Eri. She's from Japan and actually returned to Japan this week. :( Eeeeeeriiii.

Pen & Ink Army Men

Thought I'd start this blog with some of my old artwork. Well not too old. Just my best pieces from high school. This is a pen & ink drawing of some disfigured toy army men I found out at a playground. A curious discovery I thought and found them to be a challenging yet interesting subject to draw.

First Post

Hello. This is a blog I made in order to share some of my art with friends, families, and teachers. Hopefully if I can figure this site out (I've never had a blog like this before) I'll post some WIPs, finished projects, and maybe spam some quickies for fun.
